What data we process
We collect only what the TEPAI filing itself requires, and nothing beyond it.
That means the vessel (name, flag, registration number and type of register, port of registration, berth in Greece), the owner or person liable (name, address, email address, phone number), and for identification either a Greek tax number (ΑΦΜ) or, where there is none, the owner's date of birth, the first names of their father and mother, and the type and number of a passport or ID card. Greek law requires one or the other, so we ask only for whichever applies. We also store the period you selected, the calculated amounts, and a record of the mandate you gave us to file (date, version of our terms, IP address).
We will never ask you for your AADE login or any other credentials. Your card details go straight to our payment provider Stripe, and we never see or store them.
Purposes and legal bases
We process this data to perform the contract you conclude with us: calculating your TEPAI, taking payment, filing the TEPAI with AADE, and sending you the confirmation (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Where the vessel's owner is not you, we process that person's data on the basis of the mandate you gave us and our legitimate interest in providing the service you ordered (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); you confirm when ordering that you may supply it. We keep order and accounting records for the periods required by Austrian tax and accounting law (seven years under § 132 BAO) (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Recipients
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and database for this site.
- Stripe — payment processing; Stripe receives your email address and processes your card data itself.
- Resend — delivery of transactional emails (order confirmations).
- An assistant we contract in Greece — carries out the TEPAI filing on the eTEPAI platform on our instructions, and for that purpose has access to your order data. Bound to us by a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR, and located in the EU.
- AADE (Greek tax authority) — receives the vessel and owner data required for the TEPAI filing; this transmission is the service you order.
Where these providers process data outside the EU/EEA, transfers rely on EU adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
This site sets a single functional cookie, lang, which stores your language
choice for one year. We use no analytics, no tracking, and no profiling.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise them, email support@easytepai.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, dsb.gv.at), the supervisory authority under the GDPR and the Austrian Datenschutzgesetz (DSG).
